59th European Championship Sporting Finale Beretta European Cup 2026

At the 59th European Sporting Championship held in Vetralla, the Cyprus National Team secured an excellent 5th place overall among 33 European countries, finishing with 690/800 targets.

The best result for Cyprus came from Petros Ioannou of the Nicosia Shooting Club, who delivered an outstanding performance in the highly competitive OPEN category. Competing against more than 550 shooters from across Europe, he finished tied for 10th place with a score of 184/200, earning official recognition as one of the top 15 shooters of the European Championship.

The Cyprus team was represented by Charalambos Chatzimichael, Iasonas Tziovanis, Ilias Ilias and Andreas Vasileiou, while Haris Constantinou also impressed by finishing tied for 14th place with 183/200.

Italy won the team gold medal with 728/800, followed by France with 726 and Spain with 718.
