Founded in 1968 and home to the Olympic-standard Lakis Psimolophitis Shooting Complex — Cyprus's premier destination for clay target sport, open to athletes, competitors, and enthusiasts from around the globe.
The Nicosia Shooting Club was founded in 1968 and is a founding member of the Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation. It moved to its current location, the Nicosia Olympic Shooting Complex, in 1989. From the design phase, the architectural brief was to build a world-class facility to be enjoyed by local and international visitors.
The complex is situated 10 km from the centre of Nicosia, just off the A1 motorway, and is approved and authorised by the ISSF, ESC and FITASC to host major international competitions.
