ISSF Skeet
ISSF Skeet is an Olympic shotgun discipline where competitors shoot at clay targets launched from two houses — a high house and a low house — positioned at either end of a semicircular arc of seven shooting stations plus a central eighth position. Targets are launched simultaneously or in sequence, demanding sharp reflexes, precise footwork, and consistent gun mount. NSC operates a full ISSF-specification Skeet range open to members, visiting athletes, and beginners.
ISSF Trap
ISSF Trap is one of the oldest and most prestigious Olympic shooting disciplines. Competitors shoot from five stations arranged in a line, with clay targets launched from a bunker in front of them at varying angles, heights, and speeds. Each shooter fires up to two shots per target. The unpredictability of target trajectories makes Trap a true test of concentration, fast target acquisition, and smooth gun swing.
Air Rifle 10m
The 10-metre Air Rifle is a precision Olympic discipline shot from a standing position. Competitors use a .177 calibre (4.5mm) air rifle to fire at a small circular target 10 metres away. The discipline demands extraordinary stillness, breath control, and trigger discipline. It is one of the most technically demanding of all shooting sports and a key entry point for junior athletes on the Olympic pathway.
Air Pistol 10m
The 10-metre Air Pistol is an Olympic precision discipline fired from a one-handed standing position. Using a .177 calibre air pistol, competitors aim at a circular target 10 metres away. The single-hand hold makes the discipline particularly demanding in terms of stability and mental focus. Popular with both junior and senior athletes, it is the ideal introduction to precision pistol shooting.
FITASC Compak Sporting
FITASC Compak Sporting is a dynamic clay shooting discipline where competitors shoot from a compact layout of five stands arranged within a defined area. Multiple traps are set around the stands and targets are presented in a variety of trajectories — crossing, incoming, quartering, and springing teal. Compak offers high shot volumes in a small footprint, making it ideal for facilities with limited space and spectator-friendly competition formats.
FITASC Sporting
FITASC Sporting is widely regarded as the most challenging and varied of all clay shooting disciplines. Competitors move between a series of pegs set across natural terrain, shooting at targets that simulate live quarry — driven birds, running rabbits, bolting pheasants, and darting teal. No two layouts are the same, making every competition a fresh test of adaptability, reading ground, and all-round shotgun technique.
